Bow Valley Regional Housing maintains a staff of about 36 people on a year round basis. We have housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen, recreation and administrative personnel.

Full-Time Prep Cook for Bow River Seniors’ Lodge

 Position Summary:

Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, the prep cook is responsible for making dessert and meal prep, cleaning of the kitchen, helping to prepare and plate meals and cleans up afterwards, including washing of dishes.  The prep cook also provides assistance to the Kitchen Manager as required and follows duty lists.

Position Requirement:

·            Minimum 2 years kitchen experience in a busy commercial food establishment.

·            Bonus for experience in institutional cooking.

·            Bonus for post-secondary education and training in food services/cooking.

·            Need to enjoy working with senior citizens

Successful candidate will require RCMP criminal record and “vulnerable sector” background check.  Staff accommodation not provided
