Building for the future

Building a new wing, rather than renovating older Lodge units:

  • Ensures consistent, high quality housing
  • Substantially increases the level of fire safety
  • Is more energy efficient and less costly to operate and maintain
  • Will increase the lifespan of the Lodge by many decades, and will allow BVRH to meet the housing needs of more Bow Valley seniors for years to come

Construction

During construction Bow Valley Lodge will continue to offer caring & supportive services:

  • Operations will continue as normal at the Lodge
  • Every effort will be made to minimize the impact of construction on Lodge residents and adjacent neighbours
  • Once complete, Lodge residents will move into units in the new wing
